Will Prance complete the course?
Prance is the trusty steed of Sir Plus. But he is a bit set in his ways and will only jump fences built to a special pattern. Anything else will make him lose interest.
Build hay bale schooling fences from the plans in Sir Plus’ archives.
Recognising the attributes of a 3D shape, the amount of space or volume it occupies and how it looks from different views forms the basis of being able to draw, manipulate and use 3D objects.
The player will:
•Understand that the volume of x blocks remains constant regardless of shape
•Use problem-solving skills to make 3D shapes from a bird’s-eye view plan that gives the number of blocks needed
•Investigate, visualise and determine how a 3D shape appears from a front, top and side view
Created for and with kids. Tested by kids. Approved by teachers and educators around the world.
Suitable for grandparents, parents and kids or just about anyone.
It’s a fun, wonderful, educational and engaging resource for home and school.
Recommendations:
Prance-A-Lot allows students to develop spatial awareness and the ability to see a structure from different viewpoints without having to turn it around. Rated ¾ but only because positioning the hay bales take a bit of getting used to. – Samantha (Student Teacher).
